Job Shadow Day will be on Wednesday, April 24th! BHS students have the opportunity to job shadow someone in a career of interest. #STAGS #STANDOUT

We always feel lucky to teach our incredible students! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Congratulations to our Building Construction students for placing 2nd in the Build a Shed competition this week. We are proud of you!

Even with an audience, our BHS fire students don't break a sweat during drills. Multiple news stations came to check out our Firefighter 1 class in action last Friday and our students didn't disappoint.

Health Science 1 students learned about the qualities and characteristics needed to be healthcare workers. Some of the big topics they covered were communication and teamwork. To test these skills, they worked in groups to put together a puzzle. The catch? The person putting the puzzle together was blindfolded! Their teammates had to give them verbal instructions and were not allowed to touch the board or puzzle pieces. Afterwards, students talked about how this activity helped them recognize areas of communication and active listening where they excelled and where they could improve. #STAGS #STANDOUT

BHS Health Science and HOSA - Future Health Professionals students attended Discover MUSC. This event included a job fair where students were able to meet with and learn more about career and educational areas of MUSC - including the College of Nursing, Medical Imaging, Pharmacy Technician, Human Resources, Research, and more! Students ate lunch while listening to a panel of current MUSC students discuss their programs and answer student questions. Our future medical professionals left excited and full of new information! #STAGS #STANDOUT
