Wrestling Banquet – Feb 27

Varsity and Junior Varsity Wrestling will hold their annual end of season banquet on February 27 at 6 pm in the cafeteria.   Thank you to all parents, student-athletes, and coaches for a successful season.

Booster Club Board Position OPEN

The Hanahan Athletic Booster Club currently has an open position on the board – Secretary.  Anyone who would like to serve to help Hanahan’s student-athletes is encouraged to apply. The Secretary serves an important position on the board.  The Secretary keeps minutes of all meetings, handles corporate notices, notifies everyone of meetings, maintains the master record

Wrestling Season Set to Begin

Parent Meeting for all 7th-12th grade parents of wrestlers will be on November 1st at 6:15 pm. Meet in room 202, directly across from the high school wrestling room. Hanahan Youth Takedown Club! Wrestling starts 10/30!

If you are interested in wrestling for the Hanahan Hawk Wrestling team, practices start Monday, 10/30, at 4pm. Please meet in the wrestling room (near the gym).   Everyone must have a physical on file with the athletic department or bring one with them dated after 4/01/17 on the first day of practice!

WRESTLING TRYOUTS

MIDDLE SCHOOL TO HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING TRYOUTS WILL BE NOVEMBER 2ND FROM 3:45 PM TO 6:00 PM AT HANAHAN HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING ROOM (BY THE GYM).  YOU MUST HAVE A COMPLETED PHYSICAL FORM TURNED IN TO COACH ADKINS BEFORE YOU CAN TRYOUT!

Wrestlers Compete In State Individual Tournament

Senior Tyler Talacko and Junior Dalton Coker qualified for the state individual tournament February 26th and 27th.  These wrestlers had to finish in the top 4 in the AAA Lower State to earn the trip to Anderson.  Talacko finished 4th in the state competing in the 120lb weight class, while Coker competed in the 138lb
