Powder Puff Hawks Take Home Awards

Hanahan Hawks Powder Puff Football team finished their inaugural season as the runner-up.  Hawks lost to the Fort Dorchester Patriots 8-0 during the championship game last night at Charleston Southern University. During the extended halftime, league award recipients were named. All-Powder Puff Team is awarded to the best player across the league in each position.

Girls Basketball Tryouts

Tryouts start Monday , November 2, 2015 and will last until Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 4pm to 5:30pm. The location is the Hanahan High school Gym.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TO HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING TRYOUTS WILL BE NOVEMBER 2ND FROM 3:45 PM TO 6:00 PM AT HANAHAN HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING ROOM (BY THE GYM).  YOU MUST HAVE A COMPLETED PHYSICAL FORM TURNED IN TO COACH ADKINS BEFORE YOU CAN TRYOUT!

Girls Varsity XC take 2nd in Region

The Girls Varsity XC team is closing in on another quest to reach their state finals. The team of Grace Young 22:08, Casey Doughten 22:25, Mary-Grace Davis 22:53, Willa Schutz 23:11 and Valentina Leyton 23:14 recently placed 2nd, just behind Hilton Head in regional competition. They will compete next at the Lower State Championship meet

Powder Puff Advances to Championship

Hawks Powder Puff team advances to the championship game after defeating Military Magnet Academy Eagles 22-12. Senior running back Brie Diaz-Robinson scored all three Hanahan touchdowns, two receiving and one on the ground.  Junior wide receiver Hannah Robinson and junior running back Delaney Baker added the two point conversions.  The offensive line, anchored by senior left tackle Datashia

Powder Puff Advances in Playoffs

Hawks Powder Puff Football Team advances to the second round of the playoffs after dominating the Stall Warriors 22-6. Sophomore quarterback Ashley Meckely threw a pair of touchdowns passes to freshman wide receiver Fennix Gallashaw and junior wideout Hannah Robinson.  Junior running back Delany Baker added a rushing touchdown. Defensively, the Hawks held the Warriors

Girls XC wins big at Darlington!

Varsity girls XC took 1st place at the Darlington Carnival on Sat October 17. Grace Young 21:52, Casey Doughten 22:29, Valentina Leyton 22:41, Mary-Grace Davis 22:43, Abby Reed, 23:01, Willa Schutz 23:03, Kylie Futrell 23:04, Isabel Evangelista 24:47 scored 58 points to secure the win. Junior Varsity Girls also claimed First Place in their race.

Basketball Tryouts Scheduled

Boys Basketball Tryouts will be Monday, November 2 and Wednesday, November 4 for middle school students. Boys Basketball Tryouts will be Tuesday, November 3 and Thursday, November 5 for high school students. All tryouts that week will be at 6 pm. Players must have a current physical on file to tryout.  Players must come to tryouts

Powder Puff Game Rescheduled

Powder Puff Football game against Fort Dorchester has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 13 at North Charleston High School. The game will begin at 6:30. Let’s pack the house for this regular season finale!
