Hawks News · Spring Senior Athlete Spotlight 5/14/20

Over the next few weeks, the Hanahan Athletic Department would like to spotlight our Spring Seniors. We will be posting “Senior Spotlights” to recognize our seniors and their commitment to Hanahan Athletics.

Today’s Baseball Spotlight is Pitcher Samuel Zeron.  Sam is supported by his parents Randy and Laura Zeron.  Sam has been in the Hanahan Baseball program for 6 years. He also played football for HHS.

After high school Sam plans to attend college.

The thing that Sam has missed most about this season is the “The people and pitching.”

Sam’s favorite memory from baseball is “Closing in the district championship against Waccamaw.”

Sam’s words of advice to younger athletes. “Don’t let anyone convince you it’s stupid to put in extra effort.”

Sam’s favorite or memorable quote from a coach is “Hay’s in the barn”-Author Unknown

We want to thank our seniors for their commitment over their time as a Hanahan Athlete. We know that they are going to go on and accomplish great things.

Be on the lookout for our next “Senior Spotlight”.
