Hanahan High School has named Sheena Lanham as the new Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for the 2019-2020 season. Coach Lanham brings years of coaching experience with her, most recently serving as Hanahan’s JV volleyball coach and varsity assistant. She will be coaching along with returning assistant coach Holly Owens and the new JV volleyball coach Alison Cappelloni.

Coach  Lanham is currently the Head Secretary at Hanahan High School and has worked in Berkeley County School District for over eight years. In high school she was an all-round athlete and a three year varsity letter winner at Berkeley High School. Coach Lanham played volleyball on the collegiate level at Claflin University as a setter and outsider hitter for four years. Coach Lanham holds a B.A. in Sociology and a M.A.Ed. in Secondary Education.  “I am thrilled to be named head coach at Hanahan High School. I am humbled to lead the Lady Hawks volleyball team, promoting a winning culture and developing student-athletes as well-rounded adults”. Hanahan High School is looking forward to Coach Lanham taking the volleyball program to the next level.

Coach Lanham currently lives in North Charleston with her husband and high school sweetheart Adrian and daughter Aubree.
